Sailor Moon Sub Season 2 Episode 27 Rubeus Strikes Out

After the defeat of Esmeraude, Rubeus's standing in the Black Moon Clan is called into question. When he is sent on a mission to capture Chibi-Usa, he sees it as a chance to redeem himself. However, when his plan fails and he returns to the Black Moon Clan empty-handed, he is confronted by Prince Demande who expresses his disappointment in Rubeus's incompetence.

Meanwhile, the Sailor Scouts are enjoying a day at an amusement park when they encounter Chibi-Usa's friend, a young magician named Yuichiro. As the Sailor Scouts battle the Black Moon Clan, Rubeus executes a plan to trap them with a powerful force field. However, his plan backfires and he finds himself trapped along with the Sailor Scouts. Faced with the possibility of being trapped forever, Rubeus must decide whether or not to betray his fellow clan members and seek help from the Sailor Scouts.

With the help of Yuichiro's magic, the Sailor Scouts are able to break through the force field and defeat the Black Moon Clan once again. Rubeus, seeing firsthand the power of friendship and loyalty, decides to defect from the Black Moon Clan and join forces with the Sailor Scouts.

In the end, the Sailor Scouts celebrate Chibi-Usa's birthday with a magical display and reflect on the lessons they learned about forgiveness and redemption.
