But Memphis isn't just about blues and rock 'n' roll. Samantha also explores the city's soul music scene, visiting the legendary Stax Museum of American Soul Music. Here, she learns about the history of soul music and its cultural impact, as well as the artists who made it famous, like Otis Redding, Isaac Hayes, and Booker T. & the M.G.'s.

While in Memphis, Samantha also gets to experience the city's famous barbecue. She visits Central BBQ, one of the most popular barbecue joints in town, to see how they make their world-famous pulled pork. And of course, she gets to try some for herself, smoky and delicious.

Throughout the episode, Samantha meets with a range of musicians, from blues guitarist Eric Gales to contemporary soul artist Tonya Dyson. She learns about their individual styles and what makes Memphis such a unique place to create music.

But it's not just about the music in Memphis. Samantha also discovers some of the city's other cultural highlights, like the historic Peabody Hotel and the National Civil Rights Museum, located at the site of the Lorraine Motel where Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated.

All in all, "Memphis Making Music" is a fantastic episode that showcases the best of Memphis' musical heritage as well as its other cultural and culinary attractions.
