John Goodman returns to host SNL for the tenth time with musical guest Neil Young, and fans are in for a treat. The episode features sketches about everything from politics to pop culture, and the cast brings their A-game as they tackle some of the biggest news stories of the week.

The cold open sets the tone for the episode, as it features former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright (played by Ana Gasteyer) interviewing potential 2000 presidential candidates. The sketch is full of hilarious impressions, including Will Ferrell's George W. Bush and Darrell Hammond's Bill Clinton. But the highlight is definitely John Goodman's pitch-perfect Ross Perot, complete with a crazy wig and funny accent.

Goodman also plays a key role in a sketch called "The Ladies Man," where he plays a sleazy talk show host who gives terrible relationship advice. The sketch is funny enough on its own, but Goodman's comedic timing and delivery take it to the next level.

Other standout sketches include "Mango," where Chris Kattan's flamboyant dancer gets his own talk show, and "The Census Taker," where Tim Meadows plays a hapless government employee who can't seem to get a straight answer out of anyone he interviews. And of course, there are a few political sketches thrown in for good measure, including a hilarious parody of "Hardball with Chris Matthews" and a fake commercial for "Tracy Morgan for Mayor."

But perhaps the biggest highlight of the episode is the musical performances by Neil Young. He performs three songs in total, including "Hey Hey, My My" and "Heart of Gold." Young's voice is in top form, and he manages to captivate the audience with his raw, emotive performances.

Overall, this episode of SNL is one of the best of the season, thanks in large part to John Goodman's hilarious hosting skills and Neil Young's incredible musical performances. Whether you're a die-hard fan of the show or just looking for a good laugh, you won't want to miss it.
