In Say Yes To The Dress season 2 episode 6, titled "Bridal Blow Out," viewers are taken on another exciting ride with the renowned bridal salon Kleinfeld. Bridal consultants, Randy Fenoli and Fernanda Rodriguez, are back to help brides find their dream gowns.
As the episode begins, the tension is high in the salon as they prepare for one of the biggest sales of the year – the Black Friday sale. The day after Thanksgiving is already a crazy time for most shoppers, but Kleinfeld’s is extra chaotic. Hundreds of brides-to-be line up outside the doors in hopes of snagging a dress at a discounted price. Randy explains that this is the salon’s busiest day of the year, and that their goal is to help as many brides as possible.
Viewers get a glimpse of some of the brides that have already found their dresses for the big day. One bride, named Lisa, shows off her unique gown, complete with a sophisticated coat and delicate beading. Randy is thrilled with how the dress fits her figure, and praises the intricate details of the garment. Another bride, named Taimy, models a beautiful lace dress that captures her feminine spirit.
The show then shifts focus to three new brides that are coming in for their appointments during the Black Friday sale. The first bride, Nicole, is looking for a dress that has a vintage feel, but is still modern and sexy. Randy assigns bridesmaid consultant Debbie to help her find the perfect dress. The two begin browsing the racks of gowns, and Debbie pulls out a few options that she thinks would work for Nicole. One dress in particular stands out – a fitted, lace gown that hugs her curves in all the right places. Nicole loves the dress, but is hesitant to make a decision so quickly. Randy encourages her to trust her instincts, and reminds her that the sale only lasts one day. Nicole ultimately decides to say yes to the dress, and Randy celebrates with her.
The second bride, named Tammy, is accompanied by her mother and sister to the salon. Tammy reveals that she’s been through a lot of difficult times lately, and is hoping to find a dress that will uplift her spirits and make her feel beautiful. Randy assigns consultant Yolanda to help Tammy find her dream gown. Yolanda pulls out a dress that she knows will be perfect for Tammy, a ballgown with a sweetheart neckline and layers of tulle. Tammy tries on the dress, and as soon as she looks in the mirror, she starts to cry. Randy and Yolanda comfort her, and Tammy reveals that the dress has made her feel like a princess. She says yes to the dress, and her family bursts into tears of joy.
The third and final bride is named Tanieka, and she’s brought along several family members for support. Randy assigns consultant Fernanda to help Tanieka find the perfect dress. The two begin searching through the racks of gowns, but Tanieka is having trouble finding anything that fits her vision. She wants a ballgown that’s modern and edgy, but also classical and regal. Her family members chime in with their opinions, but Tanieka is still feeling torn. She tries on several dresses, but nothing feels quite right. Randy suggests that she take a break and come back later, when the salon is less hectic. Tanieka decides to do so, and Randy and Fernanda reassure her that they’ll find the perfect dress for her.
As the episode draws to a close, viewers see some of the brides that have already said yes to the dress return to the salon to pick up their garments. The excitement and joy on their faces is contagious, and Randy and Fernanda are thrilled to have helped them find their dream gowns. The episode ends on a high note, with the knowledge that at Kleinfeld’s, every bride will find her perfect dress, even during the busiest time of year.
