Ep 2. Blood Moon

In Sleepy Hollow season 1 episode 2, titled “Blood Moon,” Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills continue to investigate the mysterious happenings in Sleepy Hollow. Meanwhile, Abbie is dealing with the fallout from the first episode. Her superior at the police department believes she’s crazy, and she’s been forced to partner with Ichabod, which is opening up old wounds in her own past. As they continue to investigate, they uncover more about the symbol and how it is linked to a Blood Moon, a rare lunar event that can cause chaos on Earth.

The duo attempt to track down a key player in the string of murders, a man named Andy who seems to know more than he’s letting on. As they interrogate him, it becomes clear that there are larger forces at work in Sleepy Hollow, and the two of them may be the only ones equipped to handle it.

Throughout the episode, the viewer is given more backstory about Ichabod and his life during the Revolutionary War. The show does an excellent job intertwining the past and present-day storylines to create a sense of mystery and intrigue. The writers are also able to keep the tension high by not revealing too much about the Blood Moon and the symbol in question.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger, with Ichabod and Abbie unsure of what their next move should be. It’s a thrilling and exciting ride, and it’s easy to see how the show is quickly building a loyal audience.

Overall, “Blood Moon” is an excellent episode of Sleepy Hollow. It’s scary, suspenseful, and filled with plenty of action. The show does an excellent job of balancing the supernatural elements with the more grounded police procedural aspects, allowing it to appeal to a wide range of viewers.
