Ep 3. Put Out or Get Out

Spencer and Ashley are still tiptoeing around their feelings towards each other when the new girl, Aiden, arrives at school. Aiden epitomizes coolness and immediately catches Ashley's attention, much to Spencer's dismay. Meanwhile, Spencer's parents are grappling with her sexuality and struggling to accept her relationship with Ashley. When all three girls are assigned to work on a school project together, tensions rise as Ashley and Aiden's flirtation becomes more blatant. Spencer, feeling left out, tries to assert her presence but only ends up feeling more ignored. The situation comes to a head when Aiden throws a party and Ashley invites Spencer but then becomes upset with Spencer for not wanting to hang out with Aiden. The episode ends with a cliffhanger as Spencer and Ashley share a moment that could determine their future.
