Jimmy and Maya's competition skills are put to the test when the family gathers around the TV to watch the Oscars ceremony. Meanwhile, Jimmy attempts to bond with J.J. over their shared love of "B" movies, but things take a turn when J.J. expresses interest in a more prestigious film. Dylan takes advantage of the family being distracted by the Oscars to throw a party, but things quickly spiral out of control.
