In the season 3 premiere of Speechless titled "L-O-N-- LONDON (1)," the DiMeo family is back and embarks on a new adventure overseas. Maya, Jimmy, and the kids are ecstatic to go on vacation to London, but things don't go as planned. The fun-filled family trip becomes a challenge when Ray discovers that his travel visa has expired, leaving him unable to leave the airport.

Maya takes charge and enlists the help of a British Airways employee, played by guest star John Cleese. She convinces him to let the family stay in a luxurious, but haunted, hotel. The hotel's only available room turns out to be the infamous "Mary's Room," which is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of a jilted bride who was left at the altar.

Meanwhile, back at home, J.J. is left in the care of Kenneth but has trouble following his strict dietary restrictions. In order to get the food he wants, J.J. consents to help Kenneth with some technology issues, resulting in some amusing mishaps.

Throughout the episode, each member of the DiMeo family faces their own unique challenges. Maya struggles to keep the family together while dealing with Ray's visa issues and the guilt she feels about leaving J.J. behind. Jimmy tries to keep the peace while navigating the haunted hotel room and dealing with his own fears. Meanwhile, Dylan is determined to get the full London experience, which includes trying some unusual foods and exploring the city on her own.

Despite the obstacles they face, the family learns to come together and support each other during their London adventure. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager to see what happens next.
