In the ninth episode of the third season of Sullivan & Son, titled OwenBrau, the focus is on Owen, played by Owen Benjamin. Owen is not really happy with his love life, and the episode explores that aspect of his life. To begin with, he runs into his ex-girlfriend Lisa, played by guest star Menina Fortunato. She is now married and pregnant, which Owen cannot help but feel a little jealous about.

To make matters worse, during the course of the episode, the bar receives a new beer shipment, called OwenBrau. This aggravates Owen further, as he begins to feel that the beer is somehow mocking him. He becomes quite emotional about this, which leads his friends to try and cheer him up. But all their efforts don’t seem to be working.

Meanwhile, Susan’s father, played by guest star Tim Conway, is in town to visit her. He is quite a character and barges in on the bar, much to the amusement of the customers. He is also quite taken with the idea of OwenBrau, and becomes a regular consumer of the beer. This adds fuel to Owen’s emotional fire, as he feels that he is being replaced by the beer.

As the episode progresses, Owen talks to Steve, played by Steve Byrne, about his fears about being alone for the rest of his life. Steve tries to console him and give him some advice, but Owen doesn’t seem to be willing to listen. Later on, the bar’s customers begin to take a liking to the OwenBrau beer, which results in them buying more of it. This cheers Owen up somewhat, but he still can’t shake off the feeling that he is not good enough.

The episode ends with Owen confronting Steve about his true feelings about him. This leads to a heart-to-heart conversation between the two friends, and Steve manages to help Owen gain some perspective on his life. The episode sends a strong message about the importance of friendships and how they can help one deal with difficult situations.

Overall, OwenBrau is an emotional and introspective episode of Sullivan & Son. It showcases the struggles of one of its main characters, and how the power of friendship can help them overcome their fears. The addition of Tim Conway’s character provides some comic relief to an otherwise serious episode, making it more enjoyable to watch. Fans of the show will not be disappointed by this episode, as it delivers another great story line.
