In "Superstore" season 6 episode 14, entitled "Perfect Store," viewers follow the employees of Cloud 9 as they strive to improve the store's image in order to secure a corporate visit from the company's CEO.
As the episode opens, the staff is informed that CEO Linda Zwordling (guest star Beth Dover) will be visiting the store later that week. With everyone on edge, store manager Glenn (Mark McKinney) is determined to make sure everything is perfect in order to impress the CEO and potentially secure a promotion for himself.
In order to accomplish this, Glenn tasks his employees with various projects aimed at improving the store's presentation. Dina (Lauren Ash) is put in charge of "fluffing" the store aisles, while Mateo (Nico Santos) is tasked with training the rest of the staff on how to properly greet customers.
Meanwhile, Jonah (Ben Feldman) is left with the daunting task of creating the "perfect store" display, which includes a number of extravagant features such as a live falcon and a miniature train set. Despite the challenges involved, Jonah is determined to exceed expectations and create a truly unforgettable storefront.
As the staff works tirelessly to impress the CEO, tensions rise between Amy (America Ferrera) and Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom). With Jonah preoccupied with the perfect store display, the two women find themselves at odds over the best way to handle a new batch of bathrobes that have arrived at the store. While Amy believes that they should be put on the sales floor right away, Cheyenne is convinced that they need to be washed before they can be sold.
As the date of the CEO's visit approaches, the employees of Cloud 9 find themselves working harder than ever before to ensure that everything is perfect. However, as the day of the visit arrives, it becomes clear that not everything can be controlled. With unexpected obstacles popping up at every turn, the staff is forced to improvise in order to salvage the situation and make sure that the CEO is suitably impressed.
Filled with humor, heart, and even a touch of suspense, "Perfect Store" is a must-watch episode of "Superstore" that will leave viewers cheering for their favorite characters as they strive to overcome the odds and create the perfect presentation for their CEO.
