Ep 1. The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice

Set in a futuristic megacity known as Megakat City, Swat Kats: The Radical Squadron follows two former Enforcers, Chance “T-Bone” Furlong and Jake “Razor” Clawson, who have become vigilante pilots known as the Swat Kats. In the first episode of the series, The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice, the Swat Kats face off against a time-traveling sorcerer known as The Pastmaster.

The episode begins with the Swat Kats test flying a new jet, the Turbokat. While in the air, they receive a distress call from the city's museum, where The Pastmaster has arrived and is using his magic to steal a powerful artifact called the Tome of Time. The Swat Kats arrive on the scene, but are quickly immobilized by The Pastmaster's magic. The supervillain taunts the Swat Kats and makes his escape with the Tome.

They discover that The Pastmaster was once a medieval alchemist who was banished to the future for practicing dark magic. The Swat Kats also learn that The Pastmaster needs a specific type of medieval sundial to activate the Tome of Time and return to his own time period.

Using their knowledge, the Swat Kats track The Pastmaster to an abandoned warehouse where he is trying to obtain the sundial. The Swat Kats engage in a fierce battle with The Pastmaster and his army of undead knights, but are ultimately overpowered. The Pastmaster uses the sundial to activate the Tome of Time and create a massive time portal, causing a catastrophic explosion that sends the Swat Kats flying.

When the Swat Kats regain consciousness, they find themselves in medieval times, where they are mistaken for dragons and attacked by knights. They escape and make their way to a nearby castle where they meet a king who is under attack by The Pastmaster. The Swat Kats tell the king about The Pastmaster's plan to change history and the king agrees to help them stop him.

The Swat Kats and the king's army engage in a final battle with The Pastmaster and his legion of undead knights. Despite being outnumbered, the Swat Kats and the king's army are able to defeat The Pastmaster and his minions. With The Pastmaster defeated, the Swat Kats are able to use the Tome of Time to return to their own time period.

The episode ends with the Swat Kats returning to Megakat City, where they continue to patrol the skies and protect the city from any threats that may arise.

Overall, The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice is an action-packed introduction to the world of Swat Kats: The Radical Squadron. The episode does an excellent job of introducing the show's main characters and setting up the series' central conflict between the Swat Kats and the various villains who threaten Megakat City.
