Ep 7. The Temperature of the Heart

In episode 7 of Sword Art Online's first season, titled "The Temperature of the Heart," Kirito (the main protagonist) and Asuna (a skilled fighter whom Kirito has taken an interest in) are asked to help a young girl named Silica, whose pet dragon was killed by a player and her familiar missing. Silica is devastated by this, as her dragon Pina was her closest companion in the game.

Kirito and Asuna agree to join forces with Silica on a quest to resurrect Pina. They travel to a location where they can purchase an item that will resurrect the pet dragon. As they journey through various areas, they fight off monsters and encounter other players who try to interfere. Through these battles, Kirito continues to teach Silica the mechanics of the game and how to become a stronger fighter.

Along the way, Silica confides in Kirito about her feelings for the player who helped her obtain Pina in the first place. Kirito helps Silica realize that her attachment to Pina may have been a way for her to avoid dealing with her feelings for the other player.

As the trio finally reaches the location to purchase the resurrecting item, they are confronted by a player who has stolen the item from the NPC vendor. Kirito manages to defeat the player and retrieve the item, but not before Silica is put in danger.

In the end, they successfully resurrect Pina, much to Silica's delight. Silica thanks Kirito and Asuna for their help and they part ways.
