The episode begins with Ms. Snap, Ms. Bennigan, and Ms. Watson discussing their dating lives while in the teachers' lounge. Ms. Snap reveals she has been talking to a guy named DJ, who is a friend of Ms. Bennigan's boyfriend. Ms. Bennigan becomes suspicious and warns Ms. Snap not to trust him, as DJ has a reputation for being a player.
Meanwhile, Ms. Watson is struggling to keep up with her spin class and seeks advice from Ms. Snap, who recommends trying marijuana to help with her sore muscles. Ms. Watson is initially hesitant but eventually agrees to try it.
In the classroom, Ms. Adler tries to teach her students about poetry, but they are uninterested and disruptive. She decides to try a new approach and uses rap lyrics to help them understand the concepts. The students are engaged and even start creating their own poetry.
Back in the teachers' lounge, Ms. Snap receives a text from DJ inviting her to a party. She is hesitant but decides to go anyway. At the party, she sees DJ flirting with other girls and realizes that Ms. Bennigan was right about him. She quickly leaves and calls Ms. Bennigan to thank her for warning her.
Ms. Watson, still high from her earlier experience, tries to teach her math class but becomes easily distracted by her own thoughts. She accidentally hits the fire alarm and causes a school-wide evacuation. Ms. Cannon, the principal, confronts her about the incident and Ms. Watson tries to explain what happened. Ms. Cannon is understanding and tells her she just needs to be more careful in the future.
As the episode comes to a close, the teachers are seen in the lounge reflecting on their day. Ms. Snap apologizes to Ms. Bennigan for not listening to her and thanks her for being a good friend. Ms. Watson admits she made a mistake but is grateful that she was able to try something new. The teachers all come together and share a moment of solidarity, proving that even though they may have different approaches to teaching and life, they are all in this together.
