Ep 6. Dr. Lewis Powell

Raymond "Red" Reddington is back with another assignment for his FBI handler Elizabeth Keen. In The Blacklist season 7 episode 6, titled "Dr. Lewis Powell," Reddington is on the hunt for a doctor responsible for developing a deadly virus that could wreak havoc across the globe.

As always, Reddington has insider knowledge about the doctor's whereabouts and is able to provide the FBI with valuable intel. In this episode, Reddington's target is Dr. Lewis Powell, a former employee of a pharmaceutical company who has gone rogue.

As the team investigates Powell, they realize he is more dangerous than they originally thought. He had been working on a virus for years that, if released, could kill millions. Powell is being protected by a group of fanatical followers who will stop at nothing to keep him safe.

The team's investigation leads them to a remote location where they discover not only the virus, but also Powell's latest creation – a cure for the virus. However, all is not as it seems, and the team must race against time to stop the virus from being released and uncover Powell's true motives.

Meanwhile, Agent Keen deals with personal struggles as she navigates a difficult relationship with the team's analyst, Aram Mojtabai. A new character is introduced in this episode, adding to the show's already complex storyline.
