As the race begins, Molly's boat starts to sink due to the damage caused by the sabotage. The Duke boys quickly come to her aid and tow her boat to safety. Molly is grateful for their help, and together, they hatch a plan to catch the real culprits.
In the end, Molly's boat is repaired, and the Duke boys are cleared of all charges. They also manage to expose the real culprits, who turn out to be Boss Hogg's henchmen. The episode ends with Bo, Luke, and Daisy Duke (played by Catherine Bach) enjoying a victory lap in the swamp boat, as Molly looks on with pride.
