Ep 10. What's My Motivation

Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani, and Jason are trying to figure out why they are in the Good Place and how they can stay there. Michael, their architect and guide, sets them all up with personalized hobbies and projects to help them find their purpose. Eleanor is instructed to create a mural of her life story while Chidi is tasked with teaching Michael ethics. Tahani is given the chance to plan a charity gala and Jason is given a chance to become a DJ.

As they work on their assignments, the group realizes that their motivations are not entirely pure. Eleanor struggles with the concept of doing something good for the sake of being good, Chidi begins to doubt the intentions of Michael, and Tahani becomes obsessed with throwing a better party than her rivals in the afterlife.

Meanwhile, Michael is dealing with his own set of problems. Janet, the Good Place's all-knowing assistant, has been malfunctioning and Michael is frustrated with his inability to fix her. He enlists the help of Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani, and Jason when Janet's issues begin to impact the rest of the neighborhood.

The episode is filled with comedic moments as the characters explore their motivations and try to make sense of the afterlife. There are also several unexpected twists that keep the audience on their toes. As the episode comes to a close, the characters are left with more questions than answers, setting the stage for an exciting season finale.
