Against the advice of her cabinet, Azalyn decides to go back to her childhood home on planet Ashran for some well deserved time off. The planet itself hasn't changed much since she lived there, but its inhabitants have. Ever since the Ashran royal family executed by Azalyn's father, the people have harbored a grudge against the Raalgon Empire. Azalyn doesn't remember the details of the event very well, only that she was good friends with Ruu, the Ashran prince. Much to her surprise, she finds him alive on the planet, but mute and devoid of any recollection of the past.
