The show is primarily focused on the lives of those on the student council of the school. This includes their romantic relationships, friendships, relationships with teachers, ambitions, home life, and so forth. The TV series was originally based on a novel series by Oyuki Konno. The show is meant to show the different lives of the different girls and how they all relate to each other on a larger level when they are at school.

  • The winners of the Valentine's Day event all go out on their respective dates, but most importantly, Yumi and Toko find what the future could hold in store for them.

  • The Valentine's Day Treasure Hunt goes off without a hitch, and with Noriko's urging, Toko decides to participate. But as Toko searches for Yumi's card, she finds that she understands Yumi even less than she'd thought.

  • Toko continues to further isolate herself from the Yamayuri Council while Yumi treats the issue calmly. Noriko, however, remains most concerned and attempts to bridge the rift that's been created.

  • Yumi, Yoshino, and Shimako have secured their positions in the Yamayuri Council, but questions remain. Why did Toko enter if she planned on losing all along? Why doesn't Yumi try to talk to Toko?

  • Yamayuri Council elections are occuring and while the positions typically go to the soeurs of those already in office, Toko decides to run as well. Could such an upset be possible?

  • Yumi's still recoiling from the shock of Toko's rejection. To help get her mind off of things, Sachiko hosts a New Year's party at her home.

  • The Yamayuri Council holds a Christmas party! However, the merry festivities are overshadowed by Yumi's decision to ask Toko to be her petite soeur and Yoshino's introduction of Nana.

  • While Rei struggles to come to grips with Yoshino's choosing of a petite soeur, Yumi is deeply concerned for Toko after hearing that she ran away from home.

  • After exams are over, Yumi and Sachiko decide to go to the amusement park together. Much to Yumi's chagrin, Kashiwagi seems to have followed Sachiko to watch over her.

  • The Kendo competition is just around the corner and Yoshino promised Eriko she would chose a petite soeur before then. Yoshino might have finally found a canditate, but her choice leads to its own complications.

  • The day of the Lillian School Festival has arrived, but with it comes some unexpected drama. Kanako is startled to find her father and his new wife have come to visit her at school.

  • The School Festival is coming soon and the members of the Yamayuri Council have decided to do a play, but it soon puts a strain on Toko who's already knee-deep in her duties to the drama club.

  • Yumi, Yoshino, and Shimako, head off to Italy on a school field trip. It's an experience they'll never forget.

  • In hopes of making up with Kanako, Yumi makes a bet over the outcome of the Athletic Festival.

  • Yumi has a stalker - Kanako Hosokawa! Kanako seems to think that Yumi is the perfect Lillian girl, but she's got a few things to learn about the real Yumi.

  • As the students collaborate with their brother school to plan the annual festival, Yumi decides it's time to teach Sachiko that men aren't as bad as she thinks.

  • Wanting to help Sachiko overcome her hatred of men, Yumi arranges a meeting with the Hanadera student council. After all, both Lillian and Hanadera have to work together on their school festivals so it would be a good idea, right?

  • Yumi and Sachiko head out to the Ogasawara family's summer home, but what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation takes a turn for the worse when some of Sachiko's old acquaintances drop by for tea.
