Ep 13. Jenny's Low

George and Louise Jefferson are looking forward to having a peaceful weekend when their maid, Florence, announces that she is going out of town to see her sister. With no one to clean the house, Louise insists on doing the cleaning herself, but George doesn't think she is capable of handling it.

Meanwhile, next door neighbors, Harry and Tom, are discussing their daughter Jenny's low grades in school. They are worried that if she doesn't improve, she won't be able to graduate. Harry suggests that they hire a tutor for her, but Tom is hesitant to spend the money.

As the weekend progresses, Louise struggles to keep up with the house cleaning and asks George to help, but he refuses. Eventually, Louise becomes so exhausted that she falls asleep on the couch, leaving George to finish the cleaning himself.

While Harry and Tom are out, they run into a woman who offers to tutor their daughter for free. They are thrilled at the offer and agree to it, not realizing that the woman is a con artist who plans to charge them later on.

Back at the Jeffersons', George finishes the cleaning and discovers that he enjoys it. He even gets a compliment on his work from Louise.

Later on, Harry and Tom are horrified to discover that the woman who offered to tutor Jenny is a fraud and they have lost a lot of money. Just when they think there is no hope for Jenny, Louise suggests that she could tutor her. Though Tom is hesitant to accept help from their neighbor, Jenny is excited at the prospect of learning from Louise.

In the end, Jenny's grades improve significantly and she is able to graduate. George and Louise realize that they are capable of handling household chores together and they appreciate each other more. Harry and Tom learn to be more cautious in who they trust and are happy that their daughter was able to succeed with help from their kind neighbor.
