Ep 4. We'll Get There

The Last Ship season 1 episode 4, titled "We'll Get There," picks up with the crew of the USS Nathan James continuing their mission to find a cure for the deadly virus that has decimated the world's population. Alisha Granderson (Christina Elmore) is dealing with her own issues, including worrying about her father, who is back in the States and unable to contact her.

Despite these difficulties, the crew manages to get the sonar back online and identifies the attackers as a group of pirates operating in the region. Chandler and Slattery come up with a plan to outsmart the pirates and get a message to the lab about their situation. With some help from Green, who manages to get access to the pirate's communications, they are able to devise a strategy to protect the ship.

The episode ends with the Nathan James facing off against the pirates in a tense sea battle. As the crew races to protect the ship and get the message to the lab, they are reminded of the importance of their mission and the sacrifices they are making for the greater good.
