Ep 6. Red-Handed

Patrick Jane and the CBI team investigate the murder of a wealthy real estate agent who was present at a conference held at a local hotel. The agent had been stabbed to death in his room, and the killer had apparently kept his or her gloves on during the attack. As Jane examines the evidence, he becomes convinced that the killer must have been someone the victim knew personally since there was no sign of forced entry into the hotel room. To assist in the investigation, Jane devises a complicated trap for the killer, setting up a fraudulent real estate purchase that will lure potential suspects to a meeting at the same hotel where the murder occurred.

Meanwhile, Lisbon and Agent Cho work on a different aspect of the case, visiting the victim's wife and business partners to interview them about the victim's personal and professional life. They soon learn that the real estate agent had been involved in some shady deals and that his greed had put him in danger. The investigation leads them to another real estate broker who had crossed paths with the victim and was known to be a hothead. As they dig deeper, they find out that the broker had a history of violence and had been involved in a shady business scheme with the victim.

As the trap is set up, Jane waits for the killer to arrive, posing as a potential real estate buyer. The killer does arrive, and Jane uses his keen observation skills and ability to read people to deduce the identity of the real killer. In a gripping finale, Jane confronts the perpetrator, trapping him or her with a clever ruse.

Throughout the episode, there are plenty of moments of suspense and tension, as the CBI team races against the clock to solve the case before the killer strikes again. As always, Patrick Jane's unique way of investigating, combined with his quick wit and sharp observations, prove to be invaluable to the case. Red-Handed is a thrilling episode that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats until the very end.
