Ep 23. Red Rover, Red Rover

In The Mentalist season 4 episode 23, titled "Red Rover, Red Rover", Patrick Jane (played by Simon Baker) and the team at the California Bureau of Investigation investigate the murder of a high-end luxury car salesman who was found dead in the trunk of one of the cars on his lot. The only clue they have to go on is the victim's dog, who was found barking near the crime scene.

As they continue their investigation, they discover that the victim was not as innocent as he initially seemed. In fact, he was wrapped up in a complex web of deception and infidelity, leading to a long list of potential suspects, including his wife, his mistress, and his business partner.

Meanwhile, Patrick continues to struggle with his own demons as he comes to terms with the recent death of his wife and the role he played in her murder. His feelings of guilt and remorse are further compounded by his growing feelings for his colleague, Teresa Lisbon (played by Robin Tunney), who he has worked closely with for years.

Despite his inner turmoil, Patrick remains focused on the case at hand and uses his keen powers of observation and deduction to unravel the mystery and bring the killer to justice. Along the way, he faces several twists and turns that keep him on his toes and force him to think outside the box in order to solve the case.

With a strong cast of characters, smart writing, and plenty of suspense and drama, "Red Rover, Red Rover" is an excellent episode of The Mentalist that will keep fans on the edge of their seats until the very end.
