Ep 2. This Is a Strange Town

Talon, a lone survivor of a race called Blackbloods, continues on her quest to track down the men who killed her family. In The Outpost season 2 episode 2, titled "This Is a Strange Town," Talon is forced to put her search on hold as she arrives at a town entirely different from any she has ever encountered before.

The town is called Greyskin and is nestled deep in the woods, surrounded by a mystic fog that shrouds everything in an eerie, ghostly light. Unlike most of the towns Talon has visited, Greyskin is a peaceful place, with its inhabitants going about their daily business without any signs of the violence and corruption she has grown accustomed to seeing. The town is run by a council of elders who seem to be genuinely invested in the well-being of their people.

Talon finds herself intrigued by this strange town and its curious inhabitants. As she wanders the streets, she is drawn to a young boy named Wren, who tells her about the dangers lurking in the forest. Wren claims that the woods around Greyskin are cursed, and that anyone who ventures too far into them will be attacked by a monster. Talon, of course, is intrigued, and decides to investigate further.

Her exploration of the woods leads her to a deep, dark cave, where she finds herself face to face with a massive creature beyond anything she has ever encountered before. The beast is massive, with razor-sharp claws and teeth, and seems intent on tearing her limb from limb. Talon's Blackblood powers come in handy, though, as she manages to fend off the beast and escape back to the safety of the town.

As she recovers from her harrowing encounter, Talon begins to uncover the secrets of Greyskin. She learns that the town was once inhabited by a group of witches who made a deal with a powerful demon. The demon promised to protect the town in exchange for the witches' souls. The elders of the town have been keeping the demon at bay by offering up a sacrifice every year.

Talon is horrified by what she has uncovered and sets out to find a way to defeat the demon and free the people of Greyskin from its grip. She enlists the help of a local witch and together they formulate a plan to destroy the demon once and for all. Their plan involves a risky potion and a dangerous ritual, but Talon is willing to do whatever it takes to save the innocent people of Greyskin.

The episode comes to a dramatic conclusion as Talon and the witch face off against the demon in a pitched battle. They manage to weaken the creature and force it back into the portal from which it came, sealing it away for good. The people of Greyskin are saved, and Talon, once again, is hailed as a hero.

"This Is a Strange Town" is a thrilling episode that showcases Talon's strength and resourcefulness. It also adds new layers to the show's mythology, introducing demons and witches into the mix. Fans of The Outpost will not want to miss this action-packed installment.
