  • November 5, 2019

Mom you strangled me, I'm not a liar - on this episode of The Steve Wilkos Show, a young woman named Kayla comes to the show to prove that her mother didn't believe her when she said her brother strangled her. When Kayla's mother didn't believe her, Kayla ran away from home and was homeless for a time, until eventually reconciling with her mother. Although Kayla and her mother have made up, Kayla still wants to prove that her brother did, in fact, strangle her.

Once onstage, Kayla explains that she and her brother were having an argument, when he suddenly wrapped his hands around her neck and began to strangle her. Kayla claims she couldn't breathe and was scared for her life. However, when she later told her mother what happened, her mother didn't believe her, saying that Kayla was lying and just seeking attention. This caused a rift between Kayla and her mother, causing Kayla to run away from home.

Next, Kayla's mother comes onstage, explaining that she didn't believe Kayla because her daughter has a history of lying. According to Kayla's mother, Kayla has lied about everything from being pregnant to being sexually abused, and even once claimed that she had cancer. Kayla's mother admits that she loves her daughter but finds it difficult to believe her because of her past lies.

Then, Steve brings out Kayla's brother, who claims that he never strangled his sister. According to him, he and Kayla were having a heated argument, but he never once laid his hands on her. He believes that Kayla is lying and just trying to cause trouble.

As the show goes on, Steve brings out witness after witness, trying to get to the bottom of what actually happened between Kayla and her brother. One witness, a family friend, claims that she saw the brother strangle Kayla and even had to physically pull him away from her. Another witness, a neighbor, also claims to have heard the commotion and saw the brother being physically aggressive towards Kayla.

Eventually, Steve brings out a lie detector test, which Kayla, her brother, and her mother all agree to take. The results of the test are surprising and shocking, leading to an emotional revelation about what really happened the night that Kayla was allegedly strangled.

Ultimately, the episode provides answers and closure for Kayla and her family, as they work towards healing their past wounds and creating a brighter future together. Through the process of the show and the revelations that are uncovered, viewers are reminded of the importance of believing and supporting each other, even when faced with difficult situations and past mistakes.
