The Vet Life Season 2 Episode 5 Little Dog, Big Problem

Three Texas veterinarians, Dr. Diarra Blue, Dr. Aubrey Ross, and Dr. Michael Lavigne, are back for another season of The Vet Life. It's a delicate and risky procedure, as Chico is just 3 pounds and has a small margin of error.

As Chico undergoes surgery, Angela is beside herself with worry. She's never been away from her beloved dog before and is terrified that he won't make it. The vets do all they can to reassure her, but the situation is touch-and-go. Thankfully, Dr. Lavigne is a skilled surgeon and is able to remove the sock and reattach Chico's intestines. The little dog must spend a few days recovering in the clinic, but he pulls through and is eventually able to return home to Angela.

Throughout the episode, we also see glimpses of the vets' personal lives. Dr. Ross is planning her wedding and trying to navigate the complex family dynamics involved. Dr. Blue, a former football player, is dedicating his free time to coaching a youth football team. And Dr. Lavigne is struggling with some personal health issues.
