Ep 15. En Ami

Mulder and Scully are back on the case in season 7 of The X-Files. In this episode, "En Ami," the two agents embark on a unique assignment when they are asked by Cigarette Smoking Man to help with an important project that could change the world. As they progress towards their destination, Scully begins to question her own motives for being on the mission. She admits to Mulder that part of her is curious to learn more about Cigarette Smoking Man's past and what drives him. Mulder is shocked by Scully's admission and the two have a heated discussion about whether or not it's right to work with their enemy.

In the end, the mission is a success and Dr. Zama is able to present her cure to top government officials. However, Cigarette Smoking Man has his own agenda and the episode ends with a tantalizing glimpse into his plans for the future.

"En Ami" is a standout episode for season 7, as it delves deeper into the complicated relationship between Mulder, Scully, and Cigarette Smoking Man. The plot is intricate and well-written, keeping the audience engaged and guessing throughout the episode. Additionally, the chemistry between actors David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, and William B. Davis is excellent, allowing for the characters' complex emotions to shine through.

Overall, "En Ami" is an excellent installment in The X-Files canon, showcasing the show's strengths in storytelling, character development, and suspense.
