Thicker Than Water is about a preacher named Mr. Tanker and his large family. The Tankers have a very comfortable life because of all they have accomplished. There are many situations on the show that are great to help families address issues children do go through. Their faith is very important to each and every family member.

Mrs. Tanker is having issues with her two other sisters and is finding it very hard to deal with and they begin going to therapy together to try to fix the bond they once had. There are many great lessons learned and trust is beginning to be earned from family members that made mistakes in the past. It is a very inspirational show for all ages which makes it even better. This family will teach you in many ways that if you really want something in life to make sure to go out and make it happen.

Thicker Than Water Full Episode Guide

  • In an emotional mother-daughter instant, Cyrene reveals a personal secret she's been keeping from Jewel. Benji and Shanira get ready to welcome their infant into the world while Brooklyn prepares to showcase her music for the first time. Ben takes the opportunity to finally show his support for his oldest daughter but strong tension still looms between Britney and Brooklyn.

  • Previously unseen Tankard uprisings come to a head. Here, Jewel communicates with Dr. Heavenly ("Married to Medicine") on her talk show, and Brooklyn throws Diamond a birthday party.

  • Marcus takes a big risk and decides to throw a fashion show for his bow tie line with the help of Brooklyn. Cyrene divulges a secret to Britney and Marcus.

  • The family take a road trip to a cabin in Chattanooga, but Britney and Brooklyn get into a flaming disagreement on the way. Also, Cyrene makes a shocking confession and, as family tensions grow, Ben tries to come up with an anniversary surprise for Jewel.

  • Sparks fly as Ben and Brooklyn's conversation hits the breaking point, and Jewel intervenes to keep the peace. Also, Cyrene talks about her feelings about her mom, and Britney pursues her desire of having a child, leading to tension with Brooklyn.

  • A family battle erupts after Shanira disses Marcus and Tish's parenting methods. Also, Ben squires Jewel away for a romantic night at an unknown location to flee the drama, and an agitated Brooklyn encourages the family to face their problems.

  • Phaedra takes a trip to Murfreesboro to visit the Tankards. Jewel immerses herself in a redecorating project and Brooklyn teaches Diamond to be business savvy.

  • Britney confronts Marcus and finally listens to his side of the story.

  • A few of the Tankard clan begins the process of moving out. Junice returns to Murfreesboro and finds peace with her sisters. Ben and Jewel begin a campaign to convince Marcus and Tish to settle in Murfreesboro. Britney opens up about her deep seeded issues with Marcus.

  • The Tankards head home after an explosive 4th of July. Once home, the family plans Ben's oldest son's 30th birthday celebration.

  • The Tankards are back and kick off the summer in style with a garden party in celebration of Cyrene's graduation from high school. The celebration stirs up jealousy among the other siblings. With the 4th of July right around the corner, The Tankards decide to take a trip to Baltimore to visit Jewel's other sister Junetta.
