Work has begun at Harbor View, the 1805 Georgian house in St. George, Bermuda. Job No. 1: the roof is to be redone with native limestone tiles. Below, cedar roof beams have been exposed and reinforced, a second-floor kitchen and bath have been removed, and excavation for an addition has been completed. But the building permit for that addition has not been approved yet, and the project has a tight deadline.
