Ep 8. A Change in Defense

Josh Segal and his team are back in East Peck to continue defending their client, Larry Henderson, who has been accused of murdering his wife, Margaret. In episode 8 of Trial & Error, titled "A Change in Defense," Josh realizes that he needs to change his defense strategy if he wants to win this case.

With the trial in full swing, Josh and his team are struggling to find new evidence that can prove Larry's innocence. Meanwhile, the prosecution is presenting new evidence that makes Larry look more and more guilty. Josh quickly realizes that they need to switch up their defense strategy if they want to turn this case around.

To do this, Josh hires a new expert witness, Dr. Shirley Flanagan, a forensic entomologist. Dr. Flanagan specializes in studying the life cycles of insects and can determine the time of death of a body by examining the bugs present on it. Josh hopes that her testimony will prove that Larry couldn't have killed his wife.

As the trial continues, the defense team struggles to keep up with the prosecution's presentation of evidence. Carol Anne Keane, the prosecutor, is relentless and is doing everything she can to make Larry look guilty. Not only that, but Larry's behavior in court is beginning to raise suspicions. He's acting strange and seems to be hiding something.

Despite all of this, Josh and his team are determined to win this case. They work tirelessly to prepare for Dr. Flanagan's testimony, hoping that it will be the key to proving Larry's innocence. However, things don't go as planned when Dr. Flanagan's testimony is thrown into question.

With the trial coming to a close, Josh is running out of time to find evidence that can win this case. He and his team work around the clock to find any new leads, but it seems like they're out of luck. The prosecution presents its closing arguments, and it looks like they've won the case. But Josh isn't one to give up easily.

In the nail-biting finale, Josh makes a last-ditch effort to prove Larry's innocence. With the help of someone unexpected, he uncovers a piece of evidence that could turn the entire case around. Will it be enough to win the case and clear Larry's name? Or will he be found guilty of killing his wife?
