Ep 12. Trolling for Terror

In the season 1 finale of Ugly Americans, entitled "Trolling for Terror," we catch up with Mark Lilly, a social worker who is in charge of helping all sorts of supernatural beings navigate their lives in New York City. In this episode, Mark finds himself in a bit of a predicament when a group of internet trolls threaten to blow up the city, all in the name of "lulz."

Mark and his colleagues at the Department of Integration (DOI) are tasked with finding the trolls responsible for these threats before it's too late. As they investigate, they soon discover that the trolls are being controlled by an even more sinister force - a demonic computer that lives within the internet itself.

Meanwhile, Mark's girlfriend Callie, who is a demon herself, is dealing with her own set of problems. Her demon father has come to visit her, and he seems to have a problem with her dating a mere human. Callie must navigate the complicated dynamics of her dysfunctional family while also helping Mark stop the impending disaster.

As the clock ticks down, the DOI team races against time to stop the trolls and neutralize the demonic computer controlling them. Along the way, they encounter a variety of bizarre and hilarious characters, from a talking parrot that aids in their investigation to a surveillance expert who is also a skilled sushi chef.

As with all episodes of Ugly Americans, "Trolling for Terror" is equal parts irreverent and insightful, tackling serious issues with a healthy dose of humor and imagination.
