Ep 5. Flight of the Iron Spider

Spider-Man is back in action in the fifth episode of Ultimate Spider-Man season 1 titled "Flight of the Iron Spider". In this episode, our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is trying to impress his mentor Tony Stark, who is also known as the legendary Iron Man.

Peter Parker receives a gift from Tony Stark - the Iron Spider suit - which is the upgraded version of his normal Spider-Man costume. This suit has cool new gadgets, including retractable mechanical spider legs that allow Spider-Man to stick to any surface and also give him the ability to fly.

After receiving the suit, Spider-Man is itching to try it out, so he heads out to take it for a test run. He runs into the Trickster, who is trying to steal advanced technology from a Stark Industries building. Spider-Man tries to stop him, but quickly realizes that he is outmatched. That is when he decides to put on the Iron Spider suit.

The upgraded suit proves to be a game-changer, as Spider-Man is able to fly and use the spider legs to take down Trickster with incredible ease. The Avengers are assembling to stop the villainous Doctor Octopus and his army of mechanical octopus drones, which are wreaking havoc on the city. Spider-Man jumps at the opportunity to work with his heroes and join in the fight.

Once the team is assembled, Iron Man gives each member specific instructions and tasks to complete during the mission, including Spider-Man. Spider-Man is initially excited to be learning from his heroes, but quickly realizes that he is not being taken seriously by the other Avengers. They view him as inexperienced and not capable of handling a big mission like this.

Feeling frustrated and insulted by the other Avengers, Spider-Man decides to take matters into his own hands. He heads off to take down Doctor Octopus on his own, without the help of the other Avengers. However, things do not go according to plan, and Spider-Man ends up getting captured by Doctor Octopus.

The other Avengers come to his rescue, but not before Spider-Man learns a valuable lesson. He realizes that he needs to earn the respect of his fellow heroes through hard work and perseverance rather than trying to prove himself in one go.

In the end, Spider-Man and the rest of the Avengers successfully stop Doctor Octopus and his evil plan, thanks to their teamwork and individual contributions. The episode ends with Spider-Man, back in his normal Spider-Man suit, and Tony Stark reflecting on the events of the mission. Tony compliments Spider-Man on his bravery and quick thinking, and Spider-Man walks away with newfound confidence and respect for his fellow superheroes.
