Ep 8. Back in Black

Peter Parker has been donning the mask of Spider-Man for some time now, and he's no stranger to danger. But in "Back in Black," the eighth episode of season one of Ultimate Spider-Man, he faces some new challenges that push him to his limits.

In this episode, Peter's alter-ego comes to the attention of the Black Cat, a notorious cat burglar and thief. Despite her reputation, Black Cat (aka Felicia Hardy) seems to have a soft spot for Spider-Man, and she decides to test his mettle.

Things go from bad to worse for Peter when he realizes that Black Cat's real goal is to make him steal one of the Tablet of Time fragments. The Tablet of Time is a powerful artifact that can manipulate time itself, and it's been broken into several pieces and scattered throughout the city. Peter has been tasked with finding them all before the villains who seek them can get their hands on them.

Despite his reluctance to betray the trust of his superhero colleagues, Peter is left with no choice but to go along with Black Cat's plan. He knows that if he doesn't find the fragment she's seeking, she'll never let him rest. But as he puts his plan into action, things begin to spiral out of control.

Meanwhile, Harry continues to tutor Peter, but he's becoming more and more unstable. He's desperate for validation and approval from Spider-Man, and he's willing to go to dangerous lengths to get it. When he confronts Spider-Man and demands to be his sidekick, things take a violent turn.

In the midst of all this chaos, Peter is forced to make some hard choices. He has to decide whether or not he's going to expose Harry's true colors to his friends and risk losing his friendship forever. He also has to choose between helping Black Cat and risking the trust of his superhero team, or betraying her and facing her wrath.

"Back in Black" is a tense and exciting episode that brings Peter face-to-face with some of his toughest challenges yet. It also explores the dynamic between Peter and his friends in a way that's both interesting and heartfelt.
