Ep 3. Through Thick And Thin

In the third episode of Unpolished season 1, titled "Through Thick And Thin," the Martones deal with a variety of challenges both in their personal lives and their business ventures. The episode follows the family as they navigate through their daily struggles while also trying to keep their family-run salon, the Martineroes, afloat.

As the episode progresses, the Martones encounter a variety of obstacles. One of their most significant challenges comes when a huge tree falls in front of the salon and blocks the entrance. Determined not to let this setback slow them down, Jen and her husband Joe work tirelessly to remove the tree and fix the damage caused by its fall.

Additionally, the episode highlights some of the family's more personal struggles. Throughout the course of the episode, Lexi is dealing with the aftermath of a breakup with her boyfriend who was her dance partner. While she tries to push her sadness aside and focus on her work, she finds herself continually dealing with the emotional fallout of the split. Bria Martone, the youngest member of the family and a talented makeup artist, also has her struggles. She is trying to balance her social life and work while also remembering not to neglect her studies.

The salon continues to face financial troubles in this episode as well. Many of their existing clients are unable to come to the salon because of the storm, and Jan and the family are forced to figure out how to bring in new customers and keep their existing clientele coming back.

"Through Thick And Thin" gives viewers a glimpse into the daily struggles of the Martones. However, while the episode focuses on the family's challenges, it also highlights their resilience and their ability to overcome adversity. The episode ends on a steady note as Jen and her family are shown to be working together to overcome their problems, with each member offering their own unique strengths and support to the others. Despite all odds against them, the Martones have proven that they are a strong family full of determination, hard work, and love for one another.
