Ep 4. The Ugly Truth

In Unpolished season 1 episode 4, titled "The Ugly Truth," we see the Martone family facing some hard truths as they deal with personal issues that have been lingering under the surface. Lexi, who has been struggling with her weight, confronts her sister Bria about her comments regarding her body image. Despite the initial tension, the sisters are able to have an honest conversation and work towards resolving their issues.

Meanwhile, the family is dealing with some upheaval as their beloved dog, Simba, is experiencing health issues. Mama Mike enlists the help of her friend who is a vet to diagnose Simba's condition and they are forced to face the possibility of having to say goodbye to their furry family member. As they wait for the test results, the family comes together to support each other and share their fond memories of Simba.

In addition to family drama, we see the Martone's business, Salon Martone, facing some challenges as well. Lexi's boyfriend, Matt, is tasked with organizing a photoshoot for the salon, but he is struggling to get the models to show up on time. As tensions rise and the pressure mounts, Matt's struggles come to a head and he confronts Lexi about her lack of support and constant negativity towards him.

Throughout the episode, we see the Martone family grappling with difficult emotions and trying to navigate the complexities of their personal and professional lives. Despite the challenges they face, they approach each other with love and support, reminding us that family is the most important thing of all.
