In Waybuloo season 1 episode 6, titled "Whistle," the Piplings are excited to learn how to whistle. De Li shows the others how to whistle, but Yojojo struggles with making the sound. Throughout the episode, the Piplings practice their whistling skills, with Lau Lau even making up a song about whistling.

Later on, the Piplings are curious about a strange noise that they hear coming from the garden. They investigate and discover that it is coming from a cricket. They try to communicate with the cricket by whistling back to it, but it doesn't seem to respond.

As the day goes on, the Piplings continue to practice their whistling. However, they start to become frustrated when they can't seem to make any progress. De Li suggests taking a break and doing something else, so they decide to play a game of hide and seek.

During the game, the Piplings once again hear the sound of the cricket. This time, they follow the sound to a nearby tree where they discover a baby bird who has fallen out of its nest. They work together to help the bird and get it back into its nest safely.

Finally, the Piplings realize that the cricket's whistle was actually a call for help from the baby bird. They were able to understand the cricket's message because of their practicing and improving their whistling skills. They feel proud of themselves for being able to help the bird, and continue to practice their whistling as they go to bed.
