Ep 1. Wonderful Wonderful

Meanwhile, back in California, Nancy's elder son Silas and her longtime friend Doug are struggling to get by without her. Silas is trying to launch his own weed business, but he quickly realizes that he needs Nancy's experience and help. Doug, on the other hand, is struggling with his own addictions and is worried about being able to keep his job and maintain his life without Nancy's guidance and support.

The episode touches on themes of family, loyalty, and drug dealing in a way that has made Weeds a hit for so many years. The show’s comedic tone is on display, as usual, as Nancy tries to scheme her way into Guillermo's good graces while dealing with various bureaucratic obstacles along the way.
