The episode titled "Enemy In Their Grasp" is the eight episode of the fourth season of Whale Wars. This episode follows the story of the Sea Shepherds, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to stopping whaling vessels in the Southern Ocean. The team is led by Captain Paul Watson, who is determined to stop the Japanese fleet from killing more whales.

The episode begins with the Sea Shepherds tracking the factory ship Nisshin Maru that they have been tailing for several days. The whales are defenseless against the massive killing machine of the whaling ships, and so the Sea Shepherds are determined to protect them at all costs. The team has been following the whaling fleet for weeks, hoping to find an opportunity to disable it.

As the Sea Shepherds close in on the Nisshin Maru, they encounter a new problem. The Japanese coast guard has arrived and is actively defending the whaling fleet. The captain of the Bob Barker, Peter Hammarstedt, makes the decision to charge at the Japanese coast guard, who then throw incendiary devices at the Sea Shepherds' ship. A fiery explosion ensues, and the Bob Barker is engulfed in flames. The crew scrambles to extinguish the blaze as the Japanese coast guard keeps the ship trapped.

Meanwhile, the Nisshin Maru continues on its path to hunt and kill whales. The Sea Shepherds stage a daring mission to board the factory ship and disable its whaling capabilities. With machetes and grappling hooks packed in their bags, the team launches small inflatable boats to reach the massive ship. They are hoping to find the whaling fleet's fuel and food stores so that they can disable and immobilize the Nisshin Maru.

As the Sea Shepherds approach the Nisshin Maru, they are spotted by the whaling crew. The Japanese defenders quickly respond and throw flash-bang grenades at the Sea Shepherds' boarding boats. However, the Sea Shepherds are not deterred and successfully board the Nisshin Maru.

Once onboard the Nisshin Maru, the Sea Shepherds are faced with new challenges. They must avoid detection and find the equipment that will allow them to disable the factory ship. Meanwhile, the Japanese whaling crew is hot on their heels, intent on stopping them at all costs.

The Sea Shepherds are able to disable some of the whaling equipment but are eventually caught and detained by the Japanese whaling crew. The situation is tense as both sides are armed and ready for a conflict. Captain Watson orders his team to stand down and surrender to the Japanese crew. Their fate is uncertain as they are taken into custody and time only grows shorter before the Japanese fleet can continue their whaling operations.

The episode is full of high-stakes drama, as the Sea Shepherds fight for the survival of these majestic creatures. The tensions between the Sea Shepherds and the Japanese whaling fleet are at an all-time high, and the stakes are higher than ever. The fate of the whales hangs in the balance, and no one knows what will happen next. The crew of the Bob Barker and the other Sea Shepherd ships prove that they will do whatever it takes to protect these beautiful, intelligent creatures.
