Ep 14. Trustworthy Tobey / The Tooth Hurts

WordGirl season 3 episode 14 is a delightful double feature episode with two distinct stories.

In the first story - "Trustworthy Tobey," which is an episode of WordGirl, viewers get to know Tobey a little bit better. Tobey has always been obsessed with WordGirl and has even gone so far as to try and defeat her, but he's never been successful. In this episode, however, Tobey is determined to win WordGirl over and shows her that he's trustworthy. Tobey starts helping everyone in the city and even saves people from certain danger.

Despite his good deeds, however, Tobey continues to be distrusted by the other citizens of the city. But WordGirl sees Tobey in a new light and starts to wonder if she's been wrong about Tobey all along. She confronts Tobey and he confesses that his good deeds were all a ploy to get WordGirl to trust him.

WordGirl is disappointed in Tobey but soon realizes that she's been in Tobey's shoes before. She's made mistakes in the past but has always been given a second chance to redeem herself. So, WordGirl decides to offer Tobey the same opportunity. She tells Tobey that she trusts him and gives him a chance to prove himself once again.

In the end, Tobey ends up saving the day and proves that he really is trustworthy. The other citizens of the city finally see Tobey in a new light and thank him for his help.

In the second story - "The Tooth Hurts," viewers get to see the comical side of WordGirl. In this episode, WordGirl is suffering from a toothache and must visit the dentist. But, as we all know, visiting the dentist is not always the most pleasant experience. WordGirl's toothache leads her to be late for her superhero duties, so she tries to find quick fixes for her pain.

As WordGirl's pain continues to grow, she tries everything from chewing gum to hot sauce to relieve her toothache. But nothing works and she can't seem to shake the pain. The episode is filled with comical moments as WordGirl tries to find ways to alleviate the pain.

Throughout the episode, viewers get to see WordGirl in a more vulnerable light. She's usually so strong and powerful, but in this episode, we get to see a different side of her. It's a refreshing change of pace that reminds viewers that even superheroes have their weaknesses.

Despite her toothache, WordGirl manages to save the city from the notorious villain, The Tooth. And, to make matters even better, the dentist ends up fixing WordGirl's toothache.

Overall, "Trustworthy Tobey/The Tooth Hurts" is a fun and lighthearted episode that showcases the best of WordGirl. The first story reminds viewers that sometimes people deserve a second chance, while the second story reminds us that even superheroes can experience discomfort.
