In season 21 episode 5 of Worst Cooks in America, titled Hook, Line and Sink 'Em, the remaining contestants are challenged to prepare a seafood feast for a special guest.
First, the recruits must participate in a seafood identification game to determine which fish they will be cooking. They are then tasked with prepping and cooking their chosen fish, including de-boning and filleting, before creating a seafood dish of their choice.
During the cooking process, the contestants struggle to handle the fish, with some even admitting to never having cooked seafood before. Chef Anne Burrell and Chef Carla Hall provide guidance and instruction, but the recruits continue to make mistakes and encounter setbacks.
Once the dishes are complete, they are presented to the special guest judge, who tastes and critiques each one. The judges are impressed with some dishes, but others fall short of their expectations.
In the end, one recruit is sent home while the others move on to the next challenge, bringing them one step closer to the ultimate prize of $25,000.
