Leopard, along with her friends, Elephantus and Voltkatze, travel back in time to find the Yattermen before they became corrupted. However, their journey is not an easy one, as they encounter many obstacles along the way.

They first meet a man named Tonzura, who is skeptical of their intentions but eventually agrees to help them find the Yattermen. Tonzura introduces them to an old scientist named Dokurobei, who agrees to help them fix their time machine and gives them a map to find the Yattermen's base.

Throughout the episode, Leopard and her friends must use their wits and skills to navigate through dangerous territory and avoid getting caught by the Yattermen. They eventually make it to the Yattermen's base, only to find that the Yattermen are not the heroes they thought they were.

"The World Is Pitch-Black" sets the stage for the rest of the season, as Leopard and her friends continue their journey to take down the corrupt Yattermen and restore justice to the land.
