Ep 4. Departure

Kousei Arima is a brilliant pianist who loses the ability to hear the sound of his own playing after his mother's death. He suddenly stops performing in concerts and lives his life in solitude, until he meets a free-spirited violinist named Kaori Miyazono. Kaori invites Kousei to perform with her, bringing him back to the world of music. In this episode, titled "Departure," Kousei and Kaori take the stage together for the first time.
