Ep 13. The Number Hunter: Part 1

The episode begins with Yuma, Tori, and Bronk walking to school when they hear a strange noise. They follow the sound to a nearby alley and find a mysterious man who introduces himself as Kite Tenjo. Kite is a "Number Hunter," a person who collects rare and powerful cards known as "Number" cards. Yuma is skeptical of Kite's intentions, but Kite insists that he is only interested in collecting the Numbers to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.

Yuma and Kite have a Duel to determine whether or not they can trust each other. Kite uses a powerful deck that combines light and darkness, while Yuma relies on his trusty "Utopia" monsters. Despite his best efforts, Yuma loses the Duel and Kite takes one of his Number cards, Number 10: Illumiknight. Kite tells Yuma that there are many other Number cards out there, and that he must be careful not to let them fall into the wrong hands.

Yuma is devastated by his loss, and Bronk suggests that they seek out a legendary Duelist named Vetrix who might be able to help them. Yuma and Tori travel to Vetrix's tower, where they meet his daughter, Anna. Anna tells them that Vetrix is ill and cannot see visitors, but she agrees to help them if they can defeat her in a Tag Duel.

Yuma teams up with Tori to face Anna and her partner, Nelson. Anna and Nelson use a powerful "Gimmick Puppet" deck, while Yuma and Tori rely on their usual strategies. The Duel is intense, with both sides making bold moves and clever plays. In the end, Yuma and Tori emerge victorious, and Anna agrees to help them.

Anna tells Yuma and Tori about a secret society called "The Vetrix Group" that is rumored to be collecting all the Number cards for some nefarious purpose. She also warns them about a dangerous Number card known as "Number 96: Dark Mist," which is said to possess incredible power but also drives its user insane. Yuma and Tori realize that they must stop The Vetrix Group from obtaining the Numbers and prevent the Number cards from causing any more harm.

As they leave Vetrix's tower, Yuma receives a mysterious message on his Duel Gazer. The message is from Kite, who tells Yuma that he needs his help to stop The Vetrix Group. Kite promises to return Yuma's stolen Number card if he agrees to join forces with him. Yuma is hesitant, but Tori convinces him that they need all the help they can get.

The episode ends with Yuma, Tori, Bronk, and Kite setting off on a new adventure to stop The Vetrix Group and collect all the Number cards before it's too late. They know that the road ahead will be difficult, but they are determined to protect their world from the dangerous powers of the Numbers.
