Yuma, Astral, and Kite have managed to defeat Vector and his Barian minions by banding together and working as a team. However, the defeat of Vector has caused chaos throughout the Astral World, resulting in the partial destruction of the Astral World's door and the weakening of the barrier between the human world and the Astral World.
While Yuma and Astral are dealing with the aftermath of their battle against Vector, Kite has become disillusioned with his mission to protect Earth from the Barian invasion. He feels that his efforts have been in vain and that there is no hope for victory against the powerful Barian overlords.
Kite's feelings of hopelessness are exacerbated when he is confronted by Mizar, a powerful Barian warrior who has come to Earth to challenge Kite to a duel. Mizar taunts Kite about his lack of faith in their cause and challenges him to prove his worth by defeating him.
Despite his doubts, Kite accepts Mizar's challenge and prepares to face him in a duel. As the two begin their battle, it becomes apparent that Mizar is a formidable opponent, with a deck full of powerful monsters and devastating spells.
Kite struggles to keep up with Mizar's onslaught, but with the help of a new card, he is able to turn the tide of the battle in his favor. However, just as Kite seems to have the upper hand, Mizar unleashes a devastating attack that leaves Kite's life points dangerously low.
With his back against the wall, Kite summons his most powerful monster and launches a desperate attack against Mizar. The two monsters clash in a fierce battle, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance.
As the dust settles, Kite emerges victorious, having defeated Mizar and proven his worth as a warrior against the Barian invasion forces. However, the victory comes at a great cost, as Kite is left emotionally shattered by the battle.
As Yuma and Astral console their friend, they realize that the battle against the Barian invasion is far from over. With the Astral World in chaos and the human world at risk of falling under Barian control, they must continue to fight with all their might to protect both worlds.
