Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files Season 1 Episode 1 The Death

Fourteen-year-old delinquent Yusuke Urameshi dies after he is hit by a car while saving a child's life. His unexpected end leaves those who knew him in shock and grieving. But Yusuke's spirit does not immediately move on to the afterlife. Instead, he is visited by Botan, a grim reaper-like figure who reveals that his death was not a natural one - he was supposed to have many years left to live.

Botan tells Yusuke that a test has been set up to determine if he is worthy of being brought back to life. If he passes, he will be granted a second chance at life. Once Yusuke is back in his own body, he meets the other two main characters of the show: Keiko, his childhood friend and crush, and Koenma, the prince of the Spirit World who orchestrates his trials. Koenma reveals to Yusuke that his next task is to retrieve an item called the "mental awareness egg" from the clutches of a powerful demon named Hiei.

In order to complete this task, Yusuke must travel to the demon world with Kuwabara, Keiko, and another spirit detective named Kurama. The demon world is a dangerous place filled with fierce creatures and powerful warriors. But Yusuke and his companions are determined to succeed in their mission.

Through their journey, Yusuke and his friends face many hardships and challenges. They battle demons, overcome seemingly impossible obstacles, and even face death multiple times. But they never give up hope, and they continue to push forward in the hopes of succeeding in Yusuke's trials.
