Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files Season 1 Episode 16 Byakko, the White Tiger

The episode Byakko, the White Tiger begins with Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Botan being transported to Genkai's temple to train for the upcoming Dark Tournament. Eventually, the group manages to get through the humans and enter the cave where they face off against Byakko. The beast is massive and powerful, easily overpowering Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Hiei. Kurama is able to use his intelligence and wits to outsmart the Tiger and weaken it enough for the other three to launch a powerful attack, defeating the beast.

As they leave the cave, they are greeted by Suzaku, one of the Saint Beasts. Suzaku congratulates them on their victory but warns them that he will not be as easily defeated as the White Tiger. The episode ends with the group continuing their journey, knowing that they have much more to overcome before they can be victorious in the Dark Tournament.
