Zatch Bell is a 30 minute cartoon that aired on Cartoon Network during its Toonami lineup. The show is about a kid named Zatch, who is a Mamodo, and Kiyo Takamine. Every 1,000 years the Mamodos needs a human partner with their spell book to fight. The last Mamodo standing, becomes the Mamodo king and Zatch's goal is to become a kind king and to stop this from happening again. With his partner Kiyo reading his red spell book, the duo battles other Mamodos and their partners and fight for the battle in being the next Mamodo king.
