Ep 7. Tough Texas

In the American Pickers Season 10 Episode 7 titled "Tough Texas," Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz are in the Lone Star State on the hunt for unique and valuable items. The episode follows the duo as they explore the Texan countryside, meeting locals, and searching for hidden treasures.

The episode begins with the two men on the road, discussing their excitement about exploring Texas. Their first stop is a ranch outside of Waco, where they meet a man with an extensive collection of vintage motorcycles. The owner has a special attachment to each of his bikes, but Mike and Frank are determined to add one to their collection. They explore the collection and eventually strike a deal for one of the rarest bikes in the collection.

The next stop is an antique shop in Gainesville. The owner is known for his incredible collection of vintage signs and promotional items. Mike and Frank are excited to sift through the plethora of items in the shop and negotiate a price on some of the rarest items. They eventually settle on some neon signs, vintage oil cans, and other promotional items that haven't been seen in years.

After scouring the antique shop the pickers get a lead on an airplane graveyard near Denton. The graveyard is home to a variety of vintage aircraft that have been left to the elements. The owner gives the two men a tour, and they immediately notice a large vintage biplane that they must have. The only problem is that the plane is missing several key parts, including the engine. Mike and Frank decide to take a gamble on the plane and negotiate a price.

From there, the duo head to a small town outside of Dallas where they check out an old general store. The store has been closed for years, but the owner has kept it the way that it was when he closed it. Mike and Frank are struck by the history of the store and the items that are still inside. After some negotiating, they purchase some vintage bottles, advertising signs, and other unique items that will be great additions to their collection.

Their final stop is a horse ranch outside of Fort Worth. The owner has a collection of vintage rodeo gear and memorabilia that Mike and Frank are excited to see. They explore the collection and eventually purchase some old chaps, spurs, and a vintage saddle.

As they wrap up their journey through Texas, Mike and Frank reflect on the unique items that they found and the people they met along the way. They load up their van with their new finds and hit the road, ready for their next adventure.
