Ep 1. Steve Gets the Sniffles

Steve from Blue's Clues has caught a cold and is feeling quite under the weather. In episode 1 of season 2, appropriately titled 'Steve Gets the Sniffles', Steve is resting on the couch, surrounded by tissues and feeling sorry for himself. Lucky for him, his trusty friend Blue is there to take care of him.

As Steve is lying on the couch, Blue comes over with a note that she has written. The note says, "Let's play pretend doctor." Steve loves the idea and gets up from the couch with a smile on his face. He puts on a set of scrubs that Blue has provided for him and the two friends get to work.

Blue takes on the role of doctor and starts by checking Steve's temperature with a toy thermometer. Steve giggles as Blue tells him it's time for his check-up. She tests his reflexes using a feather and a toy hammer, and also takes his blood pressure using a toy blood pressure cuff.

Steve isn't feeling any better, and Blue can tell. So she decides to try and cheer him up by putting on a puppet show. She creates a stage out of a cardboard box and makes a bunch of puppets to help her with the show. Steve is delighted and temporarily forgets about his cold.

But Blue hasn't given up on making Steve feel better. She decides to make him a special soup. She heads to the kitchen and starts gathering ingredients. She chooses a carrot, celery, and onion for the soup and chops them up. She then adds the vegetables to a pot of boiling water and lets them cook.

Steve is feeling better just watching Blue work her magic in the kitchen. Blue adds some noodles to the soup and stirs it up. She then serves it to Steve in a special soup bowl with a spoon. The soup is just what Steve needed and he begins to feel a little bit better.

But Blue isn't done yet. She leads Steve on a scavenger hunt to find some hidden objects. They search high and low, stopping in different rooms around the house to look for clues. Steve is feeling better and better with each clue that they find.

Once they have found all the hidden objects, Blue leads Steve to a homemade fort that she has created. Steve is amazed at how cozy the fort is. He climbs inside and snuggles up with Blue. They read books and tell each other stories until Steve falls asleep.

As Steve sleeps, Blue quietly exits the fort and writes him a note that says, "I hope you feel better soon." She leaves the note by his bed and heads off for a game of Blue's Clues.

Steve wakes up and sees the note from Blue. He feels so grateful to have such a great friend. He gets up from his bed, determined to beat his cold and get back to playing with Blue.

Overall, season 2 episode 1 of Blues Clues is a heartwarming tale of friendship and taking care of each other. It teaches children about the importance of empathy and kindness. The show is perfect for young children and will leave them feeling both entertained and inspired.
