After the shocking revelation that Susan Meyer's ex-husband, Carl is the father of her daughter Julie, tensions are running high in the neighborhood. Susan is struggling to come to terms with the fact that she kept this secret from Mike, who is understandably upset.

Meanwhile, Bree Van de Kamp is dealing with a crisis of her own. Her husband Rex has been admitted to the hospital with chest pains, and the diagnosis is grim. Bree is faced with the prospect of losing her husband and is forced to confront the mistakes she's made in their marriage.

Lynette Scavo, on the other hand, is enjoying a rare moment of peace as her mischievous children are away at a sleepover. Gabrielle must support Carlos as he navigates the challenges of reentering society while keeping her own feelings of unsettlement at bay.

As tensions continue to escalate in the neighborhood, the women must rely on each other for support, even as their own personal lives are thrown into upheaval.
