Ep 7. Absolute Defeat

Renton and the rest of the Gekkostate crew are back for another exciting episode of Eureka Seven! In episode seven, titled "Absolute Defeat," we find the Gekkostate in a bit of a sticky situation. After stealing the supply of Gekko-go fuel from the military, they are being pursued by a group of fighter planes.

To make matters worse, Renton's mentor, Holland, has fallen into a bit of a depression. He is struggling with the memories of his past battles and the loss of his previous teammates. It's up to Renton to snap Holland out of it and remind him of their mission - to protect Eureka and stop the military from using her powers for their own gain.

Meanwhile, Eureka is still recovering from her injuries sustained in the last battle. She is losing control of her emotions and powers, causing her to have outbursts and causing concern among the rest of the crew. Renton is determined to help Eureka, however, and sets out to find a way to help her control her powers and emotions.

As the Gekkostate dodges the military planes, they eventually end up crashing on a remote island. Here, they discover a group of people who have been living in isolation and have no knowledge of the world outside of their tiny island. Renton and Eureka quickly realize that these people have been cut off from the rest of society as a result of the ongoing war.

The crew decides to help the island inhabitants and the situation quickly becomes more complicated. Renton must use his knowledge and skills to help the islanders repair their damaged machines and restore their communication with the outside world. As they work together, they come to understand the true nature of the war and the consequences of its impact on society.

In "Absolute Defeat," we see a different side to several characters, including Holland and Eureka. We also witness the Gekkostate struggle with the reality of the ongoing war and their role in it.
